What size puzzle should I order?Updated 2 months ago
Ordering the right size puzzle can sometimes be tricky! A child needs a puzzle appropriate for their age, while a puzzle enthusiast likely wants something more challenging. Please find some general guidance on what makes a good puzzle and which size to order below!
What makes a good puzzle?
It depends on how much of a challenge you want! A puzzle with large areas that are the same color, such as a lot of blue sky, will be more difficult to complete. On the other hand, a puzzle with a lot of distinct visual elements, such as many colors or varying patterns, will be easier to complete. A family photo or class photo will likely be easier to complete than a portrait of one person, for example. If you want to use a photo that you're worried will be too challenging to complete, you can either choose a smaller puzzle with fewer pieces to assemble, or try SMART SORTED, our pre-sorted 1000-piece puzzle that makes even the most challenging photos into puzzles anyone can complete!
